Effect of Operating Conditions on Products yields of Pine Sawdust Fast Pyrolysis in Fluidized-Bed
To investigated the effects of operating conditions, like reactor temperature, gas residence time and biomass feeding rates, on the products yields, fast pyrolysis experiments of pine sawdust were performed in an autonomous designed bench scale fluidized bed reactor with capacity of 2 kg·h-1. Result shows that reaction temperature is the critical factor for the product yields, and gas residence time and biomass feeding rates have effects on product yields as well. At the range of operating parameters, with increasing temperature, gas residence time and biomass feeding rates, the yields of bio-oil increased to maximum and then went down. The highest liquid yield of 62.55 wt% was obtained at 500C with gas residence time of 1.02s under biomass feeding rate of 1.41kg·h-1.
