Study on the Effect of Water-Storage Irrigation Technology in Korla Fragrant Pear Planting
Applying the system of water storage irrigation to Korla fragrant pear yielding according to its principle, we studied the change of soil water in field, growth characters of tree and the effect of yield and fruit quality under water storage irrigation and conventional flood irrigation. The results showed that the soil water content of the root zone of fragrant pear was notably increased in the way of water storage irrigation especially in 0~ 60cm layers, in which higher than flood irrigation in whole growing stages. Capacity of tree absorbing water from soil enhanced with soil water content increased, so chlorophyll content and leaf water content were notably increased and appeared positive linear correlation between them. Growing stage of tree advanced and nutritional characters markedly improved under water storage irrigation, fruit setting percentages and single fruit weight were increased, also fruit shape index is improved. The first order fruit rate increased by 17.19% compared to flood irrigation, yield is increased 16.37%, and WVE increased by 45.26%. Fruit sugar acid ratio is promoted under water storage irrigation, and fruit hardness was decreased, so improved the fruit savor.
