Heavy metals in some edible mushrooms consumed in Xinxiang, China
Eight heavy metals such as Cu, Zn, Fe, Mn, Cd and Pb in ten different edible mushroom species collected from Henan province were determined by inductively coupled plasmaatomic emission spectrometry after microwave digestion. The recovery rates were obtained by standard addition method between 96.8 % and 104.3 %, and the relative standard deviations (R.S.D.) were found between 0.46 % and 2.68 %, so the accuracy of the method was better and the precision of the method was good. The results showed that the contents of Cu, Zn, Fe and Mn were rich, but the amounts of Cd and Pb were low in these ten different edible mushroom species. The data of the experiment could provide an accurate and credible evidence for deeper exploitation of ten mushroom species.
