Dielectric layer formation and electrical properties of sintered tantalum nitride anodes
The sintered anode slugs of tantalum nitride were prepared by using tantalum nitride nanopowders synthesized through homogenous sodium reduction under low temperature with the subsequent sintering process. The sintered anode slugs were identified by X-ray diffraction measurement, and their morphologies were examined in a field emission scanning electron microscope and transmission electron microcopy. The specific surface area of the sintered anode slugs were measured by Brumauer-Emmett-Teller method (BET). The capacitance and leakage current of the sintered tantalum nitride anode slugs were also evaluated.
