Study on Identification and Biocontrol Effects on Tomato Gray Mold of Marine Actinomycetes Strain BM-2
According to the culluring characteristics, morphology, physiological and biochemical properties, and sequence of I6S rRNA, the marine actinomycetes BM-2 was identified as streptomyces. The antibacterial experiments showed that strain BM-2 and its fermented liquid hold relatively strong antimicrobial activities on the Botrytis cinerea, and the strain had control efficacies on tomato gray mould indoor by leaf isolated method and pot experiments, and the results demonstrated that different concentrations of fermentation of BM-2 had adequate control effects on tomato gray mold. The inhibitory rates in the indoor leaf isolated and pot experiments of original fluids were 82.50% and 79.73%, respectively. While the inhibitory rates in the indoor leaf isolated and pot experiments of fermented liquid (100 ml/L) were 61.23% and 56.10 %, respectively. And control efficiencies of the results of pot in room method showed lower than that of isolated leaf method.
