The Research on Chinese Governmental Scientific Research Funding System
Scientific research is a countrys core driving force of development of various undertakings, and it is also the guarantee for the prosperity and development of a countrys economy and society. This paper makes some in-depth analysis on the status quo and the present problems of Chinese governmental scientific research funding system, including problems in funding management body, project management and subsidy mode, and also puts forward some policy proposals to solve the problems, including: To strengthen top-level design of governmental scientific research funding system; To build sound scientific research evaluation system; To transform the government functions and consolidate macro supervision and control; To perfect the administrative system of the governmental scientific research funding.
