Study on the Present Situation and Improvement Countermeasures of New-type of Rural Cooperative Medical System—A Case of Yongfeng County in Jiangxi Province
The new-type of rural cooperative medical system (NCMS) is the famers medical mutual help system with the government organizing, guiding and supporting, farmers volunteering, individuals, collective and governments raising funds with all possible means, and mainly relying on comprehensive arrangement for serious disease. It focuses on solving the problems which being poor and sinking back into poverty because of diseases, and is one of the main forms of rural healthcare security. The thesis starts from the background of the implementation of the new-style rural cooperative medical system, and then summarizes the past experiences and development lessons. Taking Yongfeng county of Jiangxi Province as an example, the author analyses the finance and running conditions and evaluates its scientifcity, realizability and fairness.
