The Application of Social Network Analysis on Polycentric Governance to Urban Community
In the light of multi-center governance theory, based on social network analysis method, the muli-center network to the urban community was attempted and discussed in this paper. Currently, the governance of urban community appears multiple main governance subjects, and each main subject form a relative integral social network system focus on the cooperative governance of common resources in the urban community. According to our study, social network analysis extending from analyzing the relationship among individual to the relationship among organizations is feasible in theory and methodology, and the research object of relationship among organizations is common resources. It can be indicated from this paper: The governance performance of common resources depends on the social network relationship, operation mechanism and institutional arrangement between main governance subjects.
