Current Situation of China Social Assistance System and Reflection on China Social Assistance Law

摘要：

In recent years, China has attached great importance to social assistance. However, there are still some contradictions and problems in the current social security system in China, for example, social security legal system needs to be further strengthened, the scope of minimum living standard guarantee in rural areas is relatively narrow and the norms of minimum living standard are on the low side and so on. This paper first briefly introduces the current situation of China social assistance system, and then it analyzes the main issues which need to be solved in the system; finally it makes recommendations on making China social assistance law.
