Research on the Innovation Population Evolution of Biopharmaceutical Industry Based on Organizational Ecology
Biopharmaceutical industry is a high-tech dependence industry. It is necessary to study the state of development and evolution laws of the industry innovation to enhance the independent innovation capacity and the core-competitiveness. Based on the theory of organizational ecology, the innovation population is qualitatively analyzed from aspects of innovative enterprises and achievements, which provide the evolution laws of two subpopulations. Subsequently, the paper takes empirical study respectively on the two subpopulations with the contagion model and the density dependence model, which provide some information about the interactions between legalization and competition with contagion at the present stage. Finally, according to the current situation of this industry, this paper provides some specific policy proposals in order to promote this industry to develop in a better way.
