On Strategies of Crisis Communication in Government Websites:The Case of Wenchuan Earthquake and Yushu Earthquake1
According to the empirical research of the earthquake reports of government websites in China, the article analyzes the problems of government websites on the information openness of emergencies. It is also found that government websites didnt open information to public with timeliness and completeness, and didnt pay enough attention to the feedback from public in the emergency. Finally, it suggests that government websites should improve the strategies of information disclosure and orientation by disorientation and integrative communication.
