A Thorough Investigation into Liabilities in Colleges and Universities,Its Causes and the Problems Incurred

Tremendous liabilities of colleges and universities have been a concern of the public, scholars and policy-makers. The article analyzes the causes of the evolution of liabilities in terms of college expansion, disciplinary and specialty construction, school operation, changes in the macroeconomic environment, and utilization efficiency of funds. The article goes further to research into the problems incurred by liabilities and their influence on higher education. It is expected to offer a deepened understanding of the indebtedness of colleges and universities, and to promote a proper solution to the problem.
