Analysis of the Public Policy for the Low-carbon Economic Development in the West Region of China

摘要：

Though the west region of China is endowed with rich resources, its ecological environment is weak, and therefore it is of far-reaching importance in the region for our great effort to promote the low-carbon economy and green economy. The west region lags behind the east region in terms of regional industrialization, urbanization and there is not completely shaped economic pattern and industrial system in the west region, then the regional industrial adjustment and improvement has the advantages of low cost, small impedance and quick action, which enables it to catch up soon. Under such a situation, it is necessary for the west region to embark on the low-carbon economic development by adopting new type industrialization and urbanization patterns, avoiding treatment after pollution and realizing the leap forward development of the economic society. The thesis has, from the perspective of the special regional characteristics and actual conditions of the west region, proposed the pattern for the low-carbon economic development for the area and studied the public policies for the low-carbon economic development in the west region.
