The Evasion of Non-material Property Loss of Reservoir Immigration—Take Immigrants in Baise Hydro-junction Project in Yunnan Funing Reservoir Districts as Example*

The process of immigration relocation will cause material property and the non-material property loss to reservoir immigrants more or less. The material loss refers to the tangible loss causes by reservoir submergence and immigration move and the non-material loss refers to the loss of involuntary immigrant, which may not easily weigh by economic value in the process of move and resettlement The non-material property loss of immigration includes economic loss, political loss, social loss, environmental loss, psychological loss and so on.. Although these factors are hard to measure in quality and quantity, it could exert an important effect to the reservoir immigrants life. This article takes the reservoir immigrants of Guangxi Youjiang river Baise hydrojunction project in Funing reservoir districts in Yunnan province and analyzes the phenomenon of the immigrants and how to evade this problem.
