Discussion on Economical Conversion and Sustainable Development of Resource-based Cities: Based on International Experiences
There are many widespread resource-based cities in China, which occupy an important position in Chinas urban economy. The predicament of the resource-based city will influence the economic development of China directly. There are many Experiences in transition modes and sustainable development strategy of the foreign resource-based city which we can use for reference. Utilizing their successful experience rationally and combining the concrete national conditions of China to solve the problem of the resource-based cities sustainable development is of great significance. This paper has analyzed the actual state and problems of resource-based cities in China, and then studies its origin intensively. After summarizing the main transition modes of foreign resource-based cities, the author puts forward the countermeasures of resource-based cities in China to realize industrial transition and sustainable development on the basis of international experience.
