A Study on the Influence Elements of Public Emergency Response Capability in the Public Crisis Events
The public play an important role in the social emergency management activities and the emergency management level directly affects the managerial performance on dealing with public crises for the government. Thus, for China, comprehensively analyzing on the current situations of the Chinese emergency response capability, and studying the influence elements of public crisis, as well as affording relevant effective management suggestions, are quite significant for both the crisis decisions made by the government and the construction of emergency management system promoted by the society. Through analyzing the public emergency response capability as the start point, proposing several research hypotheses, carrying out a questionnaire survey on the public and making statistic data analysis, this thesis studies the emergency capabilities of the public with offering the following preliminary advices for enhancing the public emergency capabilities, (1) neither the variable gender or the age has significant influence on the public emergency response capability; (2) the influence exerted from education level on public emergency response capability is comparatively significant; (3) the occupation has a certain level influence on the public emergency response capability; (4) the income level has a significant influence on public emergency response capability.
