Research on the Participation of China NGO in Public Crisis Management

Public crisis that occurred frequently has become the severe challenge in social management. As the representative of public power, the government must play a leading role in the process of crisis management. Now, China is in the key stage of economic transition and social transformation, which has led to the diversity and complexity of public crisis. It would be extremely hard for the government to take the full responsibility for the risk of public crisis management. Effective mobilization of social forces and integration of social resources are undoubtedly the keys in the process of public crisis management. From this perspective, this paper focuses on the participation of China NGO in public crisis, including its management models, approaches and strategies, which is also an effective way to improve response mechanism of modem emergency and enhance management capabilities of public crisis.
