New Mechanism of Intergovernmental Management for Promoting Educational Integration in the Yangtze Delta

摘要：

There are the most powerful economy and the richest education resources in the Yangtze Delta in China. With the rapid development of the regional economic integration, it accelerates the regional educational integration. This paper, based on the theory of collaborative public management, established a new mechanism of collaborative management between local governments, and put forward the strategies for promoting educational integration in the Yangtze Delta, such as establishing a comprehensive education reform pilot area, carrying out extensive regional collaboration in the basic education, higher education and vocational education, promoting the optimization of the distribution of educational resources, and providing the high quality education service for the regional economic and social sustainable development.
