Demands and Suggestions for Development of Aging Industry in Jiangsu Province, China
The elderly industry is one of strategic new industries of development to satisfy the needs to solve significant aging problems of China in 21st century. The characteristics of population aging in Jiangsu Province lay the fundamental foundation for the development of the elderly industry in Jiangsu—to form the main body of elderly consumers, including early appearing, huge base, rapid growing, many empty nests, old aged and more extensive demand. On the basis of analyzing the market demand of the elderly industry in Jiangsu, aiming at the present situation of the elderly industry in Jiangsu and the main problems appearing, I find out Jiangsus strong advantages that shall be fully used, including its existing high overall economic level, solid foundation of industry development, fast Industrial Structural Upgrade. These shall contribute to make the elderly industry better in Jiangsu and help the industry to be the new growth point of innovative economic development in Jiangsu Province.
