Towards a Rigorous Definition of Cyber Group Events

摘要：

Lack of central administrative control, an absence of global visibility and convenience of internet technology applications are properties of the Internet, which brings more freedom communication for public, promotes democratization of information communication, creates a public communication domain to discuss political and social problem, strengthens the relationship between the citizen. Based on it, the cyber group events are increasing, which influences the normal social order seriously. Unfortunately, despite the common use of the term, no precise and adequately comprehensive definition of the cyber group event exists, and what constitutes a cyber group event and what circumstances the network group event will occur thus are not defined well in a quantitative sense. In this paper, we present the frame for a rigorous definition of cyber group events based on the analyzing the group member behavior during the event.
