Research on the Resistance Inheritance Basis of the Nystatin - induced Tomato to Phytophthora infestans (Mont.) de Bary
Segments from cotyledon or hypocotyl of the Alpatieva-905 were cultured on MS medium supplemented with various combinations of NAA、IAA 、 2.4-D,6-BA and KT in different concentrations. In the experiment, we screen the resistant mutants of tomato to P. infestans using l-2mm mini-callus as materials and Nystatin as mutational selector. The regenerated plantlet induced by the Nystatin resistance to the P. infestans was stronger than the reference. The result indicated regenerated plantlet resistance to the P. infestans levels were affected by the Nystatin. But not all the regenerated plantlet resistance to the Nystatin is resistant to the P. infestans. These prove that the Nystatin maybe cause non-specific plantlet mutant. The inheritance analysis of Rt generation speculates that genetic resistance of P. infestans in mutant plantlets (R0) is controlled by one or two heterozygous genes and this is caused by dominant inheritance.
