Design Principles and Applications of the Belt Node Space of Garden

摘要：

In this study, the belt node space is applied in the landscape design of the west side courtyard of Guanlin. It is concluded that, the design principles satisfying the functional requirements of the site, serving as cultural carriers, maintaining the overall coherence, and highlighting the features should be followed in the belt node space design. At the same time, the combination mode and constructional pattern of the landscape elements are determined as the important impact factors in the design of the belt node space.
