Inspiration of Process Art on the Design of Rain Garden
The dynamic characteristics of Rain Garden determine that it is a garden dominated by the changing process, which has the same starting point with the Process Art. Thus, designers can obtain much inspiration from the Process Art. This paper introduces the concepts and representative works of Process Art, as well as illustrates the inspiration of Process Art on Rain Garden. Further more, the paper introduces some relevant cases to explore the approach to enhance the artistic characters of Rain Garden by emphasizing the natural process of rain. Finally, the paper proved that designers can break the designing mold of rain garden and keep looking for new inspirations and the direction of advance from natural process.
