The Study on the Classifying and Ranking System of Tourist Attraction of Shanghai
Currently, National Standards in Classifying, Investigation and Evaluation of Tourism Resources (GB/ T18972-2003) is widely used; however, there are some limitations in the application of classifying and ranking criteria in it which is unfit for tourist attraction of metropolitan. This paper takes Shanghai as an example and brings out a unique classifying and ranking system of tourist attraction which could clearly reflect the characteristic of Shanghai, and this paper also refers to an evaluation system of Shanghai tourist attraction. By application it on the research of the important tourism projects and industry location for metropolis of Shanghai in the next five years, the system comes off satisfactorily.
