Landscape Planning and Design Method under Cultural Heritage Cognition

摘要：

Starting from analysis of the development of Xi an Chan-ba district and the crisis of urban cultural environment, this paper reviews an international research and teaching cooperation between Xian University of Architecture and Technology (XAUAT) and Bordeaux National Superior Architecture and Landscape study College, France (ENSAPBx) in 2009, introduces the organization mode, major features, contents and outcomes of this Sino-French joint-research and design workshop. The main objective is to explore a planning and design method based on Xian local cultural background, which is landscape planning and design method under cultural heritage cognition. This paper finally puts forward the conclusion of the precious experience of international collaboration and the direction of future cooperation.
