On Methods of Teaching Landscape Construction with Effectiveness,Vividness and Concreteness
During teaching practice, the present authors have encountered some problems and challenges in terms of Landscape Construction, such as, ineffective teaching due to rigidity and boredom of teaching content as well as comparatively low ratio of teacher vs students, lack of practice equipment and ignorance of traditional techniques. Aimed at the above questions, adjustment and improvement of teaching content and method will be suggested in the paper. In terms of teaching content, the present author has tried different assignment modes during studio; while in terms of teaching method, the present authors have adopted methods of correspondence between working drawings and built landscape, correlation working drawing and construction process, evaluation and optimization of built environment, combination of modern and traditional tectonic techniques and methods of peer teaching and team work, with which remarkable achievements have been made in the practical course instruction.
