The Research on Effect of Vinegar Residue Mixed-Substrate

In order to get better utilization of vinegar residue and create new soilless culture substrates, the research of different proportion of vinegar residue, mushroom residue and cow dung on effect of the growth and yield of fruit cucumber in greenhouse has been studied. The result indicated that 60% vinegar residue mixed with 40% cow dung had best cultivation effect; pure vinegar residue took the second place, which had the same effect as that of 60% vinegar residue mixed with 40% cow dung in late stage cultivation. Any proportion of vinegar residue and mushroom residue had bad effect, 60% vinegar mixed with 40% mushroom residue had the worst effect. So the research indicates that vinegar residue can be used as a high quality soilless culture substrate, which has greater application prospect in soilless cultivation.
