Histo-cytological studies on somatic embryogenesis in leaf explants of Crassula arborescens

摘要：

Somatic embryos were induced from leaf explants cultured on MS or 1/2MS media supplemented with BA ,NAA and IBA.Like the zygotic embryo, the somatic embryo originated from a single embryogenic cell.The cell continually divide and differentiate into multicellular globular-shaped,heart-shaped,torpedo-shaped and cotyledon embryos. Cotyledon embryos develope into crowded shoots on the media with low concentration of BA(lmg/l) and protocorm-Iike bodies with high concentration of BA(4mg/l). Somatic embryos directly form plantlets on the media with only auxins or hormone-free.
