HOUSE HEATING WITH GEOTHERMAL ENERGY
Geothermal energy is a clean energy source and its utilization can improve the quality of life of the cities inhabitants considerably. Tons of harmful chemical compounds that would otherwise be emitted into the air will be spared, and with the proposed system, the official heating season will not be used. Proposed geothermal heating systems are built up in such a way that consumers can choose their comfort level themselves, and in addition, hot tap water heating production are proposed as a part of these geothermal heating systems. To make a successful utilization of the geothermal resource, common management with re-injection is planned and by such approach the utilization is responsible and harmonized with nature. A description is given of the main changes that are required on house heating systems when the heat source comes from geothermal energy. The main issue when putting up geothermal heating systems is to achieve large temperature utilization at the first stage with low return temperature. The return temperature plays a minor role in heating systems that uses coal as a fuel and therefore the design of these systems is not suitable for geothermal fluid unless changed substantially.
