THE ELIMINATION OF UNKNOWNS WITH DIFFERENTIAL QUADRATURE METHOD FOR THE STOKES EQUATIONS
In the Stokes equations, the velocity u and the pressure p are coupled together by the incompressibility condition div u = 0 which makes the equations difficult to solve numerically. In this paper, a new method named elimination of unknowns with differential quadrature method (EUDQM) is applied to the Stokes equations. The numerical results indicate the efficiency and accuracy of our method.
