NUMERICAL ANALYSIS OF HYDRODYNAMICS OF FLOATING-RING BEARING
Lubricant dynamic characteristics in lubricant region of floating-ring bearing are researched by using viscous boundary element method. The distribution of pressure on bearing neck, bearing and floating-ring is obtained, as well as, the pressure difference curve of inner film and outer film of floating-ring and distribution of flow field in lubricant region are obtained. The results have higher precision. The method is reliable.
