A NEW STOCHASTIC PROJECTION METHOD FOR THE BOSE-EINSTEIN CONDENSATION
A new stochastic projection method (SPM) is developed for the numerical simu-lation of Bose-Einstein condensates (BEC). The implementation of the numerical scheme is illustrated through simulations of BEC in a quasi-2D square cavity with repulsive atom-atom interaction. A set of results agree with experiments, appar-ently they do not leave out the theoretical predictions. All these will be helpful for analyzing the similar subjects.
