A novel efficient sorbent for PFOS and Cr(VI) from electroplating water
A novel and effective sorbent to remove the perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) and chromium simultaneously from simulating plating solutions was found in this study. The result indicated that the AET-HDTMAB-Mt was the most effective for the sorption of both PFOS and Cr (VI), and their sorption capacity reached 89 mg/g and 14 mg/g respectively.
