Application of QUAL2K for Weihe River in ShaanXi Province
Weihe River is located at longitude 106 ° 18 ~ 110 ° 35, latitude 33 ° 35 ~35 ° 52, basin area of 55,000km.Basin formed by a variety of complex topography, can be divided into: the Qinling Mountains, Shaanxi, Gansu Loess Plateau and Weihe River valley. Topography from west to east, north and south from the central to the gradual uplift is asymmetric River, originated in the north tributary of the Loess Plateau, has a long history, catchment area, the dendritic river systems, tributaries from the south side of the Qinling Mountains, a large river bed gradient, the process is short, convergence area is small, the plume water.Weihe River water quality is mainly affected by the natural climate, rainfall runoff, soil, vegetation, geological features and other natural environmental impacts, in most parts of the natural river basin water quality is good.
