Experimental Study on Injuries of Lung Lesion Caused by di(2-ethylhexyl) Phthalate (DEHP)

Project Background: Di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate is the most widely used in organic of Phthalic acid esters(PAEs), which is the most commonly used plasticizer in order to improve the mechanical properties of the plastic resin and the flexibility, and mainly used in food packaging materials and containers, medical supplies and artificial leather, etc. In recent years, because its used widely in the context of the global, the DEHP generally exists in the environment, and then makes more serious pollution of the environment. Therefore, DEHP and its metabolites caused the harmful effects, as aroused more and more attention in society. Exploring the lung toxicity and the possible mechanism by DEHP could provide the basis on its health standard in all kinds of food and its biological materials.
