An empirical study of cleaner production in Fujian province, China

摘要：

1 Introduction Cleaner production practices have helped to enhance both economic performance and environmental performance in China simultaneously. There were 2139 leading enterprises which carried out the compulsory cleaner production audit in 2009. Although there is an ascending trend for enterprises to carry out cleaner production audit, much greater participation is needed to make a real impact in the fast growing industrial development in China2.
