Investigation on sampling artifacts of particle associated PAHs using ozone denuder systems

Polycyclic Aromatics Hydrocarbons (PAHs) are complex organic carbonaceous contaminants mainly generated from incomplete combustion process of oil, coal, biomass and some other kinds of organic compounds. Some of PAHs, especially those in particle phase were well recognized to be highly carcinogenic and mutagenic to human, so they are always a matter of concern of scientists and policy makers around the world. Thus, precise measurement of PAHs atmospheric concentrations is of great interest to fully understand their pollution characteristics and develop customized control strategies.
