Grid Influence on Heat Flux Calculation
Numerical simulation of blunt model was carried out by solving Reynolds averaged Navier-Stokes equation in this paper. The performances of grid topology and grid scale in heat flux calculation were compared, and a kind of grid rule which is suitable for heat flux calculation was brought out. The results showed that the non-singular grid topology has the advantage for numerical error control in stagnation region; For heat flux calculation in practice, it is difficult to get reasonable results by using the grid that is extremely fine or coarse. Compared with the normal direction, there is less influence of streamwise and spanwise grid scale for the classic boundary layer flow, but when the non-boundary layer flow is considered which contains obvious cross flow or separated flow, it still need to be further investigated.
