Prediction on Thermal Response for Functionally Graded Materials
Functionally Graded Materials (FGM) is a kind of composites which components and properties change gradually over thickness direction. Two technical problems on thermal response prediction should be solved in this paper. The first one is to establish the fundamental equations for thermal response and the second one is to study thermal response for FGM. In this paper, the effect of inner temperature distribution for FGM which due to different selection of index for gradient function is obtained by employing fundamental equations established above.
