Test of an UHTC winglet on the European capsule EXPERT

The European Space Agency is pursuing the EXPERT hypersonic flight test project, to improve the scientific knowledge of challenging problems related to the hypersonic flows. A blunted capsule will take advantage of a Russian VOLNA launcher to make a ballistic suborbital flight, reaching 135 km altitude and 5km/s speed in about 300s before the 220 seconds reentry phase.
