An Iterative Algorithm for Computing the Trimmed State of Air-breathing Hypersonic Cruising Vehicle

This paper presents an iterative algorithm for computing the trimmed state of the air-breathing hypersonic cruising vehicle. Three equations about the trimmed angle of attack, elevator angle and fuelto-air ratio are given. Then an IACCS iterative algorithm are proposed to compute the ideal trimmed state. A numerical simulation for a wind tunnel experimental data are used to validate the efficiency of the algorithm. Numerical Simulation results from wind tunnel experimental data of a hypersonic vehicle show the effectiveness of the algorithm.
