A study of the flow structure and transition for typical shock reflection in the design of the scramjet engine
Researching the structure of the shock-train signify much in the design of the scramjet engine. The shocktrain is composed of regular shock reflection and Mach shock reflection. In this paper, we study the wave structures and wave interactions of Mach reflection in two dimensional flows. The fine structure of the transition from regular to Mach reflection due to the influence of an upstream disturbance is also studied.
