A Review of Definition, Influential Factor and Measurement Method of Project Complexity

摘要：

Study on the complexity of the project is the basis and focus of complexity project management. Although papers published in major journals have discussed and analyzed project complexity from different angles, there appears to be a lack of systematically summarizing what they have already provided. Based on existing research hotspots, this paper summarizes and makes a through analysis on the achievements and limitation of this field from aspects of the definition, influential factors and measurement method. We get the conclusion that key influential factors can be indentified and complexity of the project can be measured effectively in use of computer simulation technology to make the direction of this field clear and establish the foundation on the management of complex project.
