Research on Applying EPC to Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Work in Colleges and Universities in China

摘要：

This paper proposes EPC (Energy Performance Contracting) mechanism as a solution for saving energy basing on analyzing the present situation of the energy-saving and the emission reduction in China’s colleges, in particular, the problems in the capital and management, and introduces development of EPC mechanism in China. In addition, the paper analyses of EPC in colleges with SWOT model, and gives some advice, such as Strengthen policy encouragement and the technology cooperation between ESCO (Energy Service Company) and colleges, which is proposed for the promotion of EPC application in colleges and development of ESCO industry in China.
