Research on the Cooperative Relationship between Owner Group and General Contractor Group Using Evolutionary Game Theory
Due to the uneven distribution of interests, many problems exist in the relationships between owner group and general contractor group, which make low cooperation efficiency in the whole project, such as confrontation strategy, non-cooperation and lack of effective coordination. The paper attempts to establish a model of cooperative relationship based on evolutionary games theory with the point of view on groups, and analyses the key factors which affect cooperative relationship between owner group and general contractor group. The model reveals the evolutionary rules of complicated relationship and points out three methods which could reduce the initial cost of cooperative relationship, which could rationally distribute the excess profit, which could enhance cooperative partners’ dependence and emphasis on future profit based on cooperative relationship. It strengthens and optimizes cooperative management level between owner group and general contractor group, and improves the efficiency of cooperation.
