Chinese Urban Disaster Risk Assessment and Management:A Case Study of Dalian
In recent years, along with the continuous acceleration of urbanization, the rapid growth in population and the accelerated expansion of urban area have increased the pressure on the ecological environment, by which they caused frequently occur of various disasters, increasing damaging and influencing and thus seriously limited the economical development and disrupted the normal social order. This paper employs Grey Comprehensive Evaluation Method to analyze the factors which caused the disaster in Dalian, and bases on the prediction of gray dynamic model to calculate the urban disaster risk to provide the necessary theoretical basis as a prerequisite for Meteorological disaster risk management. On this basis, this paper focus on discussing the disaster risk management in Dalian city and the procession and strategies of implementation process to reduce frequency of disasters and the loss of the economy and society, these can provide reference for strengthening and promoting urban disaster risk management.
