Measuring the Operations Efficiency of Construction Enterprises by Using Data Envelopment Analysis

Data envelopment analysis (DEA) is used to measure the operations efficiency of construction enterprises. Indices for the operations efficiency of construction enterprises are proposed by using input and output data from Chinese listed construction enterprises. The results show that the relative efficiency of construction enterprises can be calculated by using data envelopment analysis. Adjusting the input-output values of non-effiency construction enterprises, the non-efficiency construction enterprises can be made to be efficient, which provides a valuable reference for promoting the performance of construction enterprises.
