THE TERMINAL COOPERATIVE DIVERSITY SCHEME FOR LTE-ADVANCED UPLINK SYSTEM
Cooperative diversity is a technology that is the corporate users by sharing their separate antenna and other resources, for example the time, frequency and power, through distribute transmission and signal process to create a virtual multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) system. Single-carrier frequency division multiple access (SC-FDMA) is adopted in the uplink for the 3GPP long term evolution (LTE) and LTE-Advanced system. In this paper we put forward a terminal cooperative diversity scheme for SC-FDMA. The simulation results show that through this scheme the system, while keeping most of the advantages of orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA), could significantly improve the reliability of the wireless communication over fading channels, reduce the BER effectively and get cooperative diversity gain.
