APATMER BASED ANALYTICS OF BIOCHEMICALS AND PHARMACEUTICALS
Nucleic acid aptamers, which are ssDNA or ssRNA, can be selected from pools of random-sequence oligonucleotides to bind a wide range of targets with high affinities and specificities. Aptamers exhibit significant advantages such as high selectivity, flexible design, synthetic accessibility and easy modification. By now, a series of aptamers have been selected for a library of targets, which includes inorganic ions, proteins, even cells. Currently, the development of aptamer has been used to design various sensors.1-3 Most importantly, aptamers that bind cell surface receptors have been exploited for the delivery of a variety of cargoes into cells, which can be used for Pharmaceuticals, therapeutics therapy and imaging. It is expected that in the future, aptamers will increase the finding in therapeutic molecules and modalities, and develop the clinic application.
