CONSTRUCTION OF PROTEOME ANALYSIS SYSTEM WITH ULTRA PERFORMANCE SEPARATION USING LONG MONOLITHIC COLUMN
Demands on high performance chromatographic separations of bio-related substances are increasing in the fields of proteomics. Recently, the monolithic column as a new separation medium attracts attention because of its potential for high performance separation in liquid chromatography. Long monolithic capillary columns were prepared, and the efficiency was examined using liquid chromatography. The fact that very high efficiencies were obtained for the retained solutes suggests the practical utility of the long monolithic capillary columns. In addition, the system using monolithic column was applied to proteome analysis and showed an efficient performance.
